Nets

Context

Nets is the biggest payment solution in Denmark. At Nets I worked 3 years (I was the only designer) at the mobile app (Android and iOS) and at many desktop portals for their creditors and debtors. At this project I had a lot of challenges, it was a very complex project with many streams, different product owners and different teams (50 developers/testers/BAs in total). Another challenge was the terminology and all the technical knowledge about the payments.

Process

When I have a project, usually I use Design thinking process.

  1. I try to understand the problem, what the user wants to do, what is the goal. (*if the project has budgets, I am doing some user research*)
  2. Define the problem
  3. Generate as many ideas as I can. Sometimes I’m sketching on my notebook or on my tablet.
  4. Talk with the product owners and the team, choose best idea and create wireframe (low fidelity/high fidelity)
  5. Create the final interface
  6. Create prototypes
  7. Test with users, get feedback and iterate.
  8. Prepare the screens for the developers (usually I am uploading the screens in Zeplin)

During this process I collaborate very often with the developers and the product owners. I present them ideas, screens and I am receiving feedback from them.

Tools I used
